(picture and anime/manga character not mine. This is my own lil story on zebra and my theory. this will be in steps but if anyone wishes to rp this feel free to pm me)
 In the past as child Zebra watched a juniors cooking competition with Sani Coco and Toriko. They are between the ages of14 to 10(ish) and Sani was curious about a girl named kirisuto nagano who was making a dish and was humming.Like she was singing to the food. When they asked her what her goal was besides winning the money to get gourmet cells for her half deaf and half blind problem. she proudly said "To make a dish worthy of a heavenly king!" Which made zebra's heart skip a beat. beginning his deep dark feelings he would forever hide. Years pass now 29 he still would never love any other woman except her. Even Loves pheromones wouldn't work on him when he was in honey prison because the only woman on his mind was Kiri. He never thought he would see her again till Toriko asked him to join for a Shinobeef hunt because Komatsu's cousin, Kirisuto Nagano, Needed it for a recipe and she was also coming along.
Komatsu nodded "Yes were talking about THE Kirisuto Nagano! She's the best of the restaurant Harmony in town. She asked really nicely.."
"Ya after she 'gently' beaten you up Komatsu. Heh i cant believe she was jealous at the fact you hang out with us..Then again i couldn't believe she was the very same humming ponytail girl at the junior IGO cooking competition when we were kids." Toriko said teasing his partner Komatsu.
Komatsu chuckled nervously. "Cousin Kiri needed the Cells. they were worried about her health but she reacted well.Her eye is as sharp as a fox and her hearing as almost as good as Zebra-san.its so good that she hears the ingredients singing. and she sings along with them. Before we leave she insisted to see You and Toriko and have you two try some of her food." Toriko then thought about something "Komatsu?Why is she called The kitsune of the kitchen anyway?I can understand the Ice angel part.." Komatsu smiled "Ah its because she works with 9 knives and has a knife that cuts 9 ways!" "Nine!" Toriko said nervously. Komatsu nodded. "Yes but not all at ounce. She always carries them One for every meal. And that's not all Like Zebra san Cousin Kiri can be very stubborn.When she sees a weakness in someone she considers a friend, she will do all she can to help them cope with it, however if the weakness is seen in someone she considers an enemy...or a pestful guy thinking their a potential suitor she will exploit it to no end. And trust me she doesn't hold back.She only held back on me because i held that secret."
Toriko gasped wondering how strong the 4'11" woman really was.
"Despite her focus on other people's weaknesses, Kiri can be stubborn and usually not ask for help, or feel guilty about doing so. So that's why she felt terrible when asking us to find that ingredient but was excited when we said we would ask Zebra to come along. Ya see she has a really big crush o-" He quickly covered his mouth. "Crap i said to much Kiri is going to kill me!"
Toriko filled in the blanks and laughed. "Your kidding!Kiri san loves Zebra! Does she know about him?" Komatsu nodded "Ya but she thinks hes misunderstood."
